Basketball is more than just a sport. Here in the Philippines, Basketball is Life because Basketball gives happiness. It gives smiles to children who lost their homes, their dreams, their family. In basketball, you could get a full scholarship out of it if you can get the eye of top universities. It can also be your career. A professional basketball player makes about a hundred thousand to a million pesos a month, depending on his/her contract. The Philippines, is a country that has Basketball as one of it’s main factors in life. I mean, you won’t see a corner here without a basketball court. I think it is safe to say that the Philippines is a country that breathes and lives basketball.
